Hearing aids has three basic components which are an ear mold: if there is one, a volume control area and a place for the hearing battery. Though hearing aids comes in different flavors.
The sounds are send by hearing aid microphones and takes it to an internal processor that amplifies the sound, before passing it on to the wearer of the hearing aid through the plastic tubing (tone hook) into the ear mold.
A Hearing Aid is like a sound that let’s you hear the words to a song, but doesn’t really understanding the words. It amplifies sounds, but doesn’t make sounds clearer, it depends on the amount of clarity and individual’s hearing loss. Hearing aid users should have auditory training to learn how to use and discriminate sounds, and interpret them.
